Anyon announces the official inauguration of its 24-qubit quantum computer dedicated to research and innovation

Anyon Systems Inc. (“Anyon”), a quantum computing company based in Montreal, Canada, is pleased to announce the official inauguration of its 24-qubit superconducting quantum computer deployed at Calcul Quebec, a high-performance computing (HPC) center. The inauguration event was attended by the Honourable François-Philippe Champagne, Canada’s Minister of Innovation, Science and Economic Development (ISED), Margrethe Vestager, Executive Vice-President of the European Commission as well as Suzanne Talon, CEO of Calcul Quebec.

Installing the superconducting quantum computer directly in Calcul Québec’s server room dedicated to advanced computer calculations is a major step forward in developing hybrid computing solutions and offers researchers and industrial users a quantum solution designed and developed entirely in Canada.
