Anyon announces the official inauguration of its 24-qubit quantum computer dedicated to research and innovation

Anyon Systems Inc. (“Anyon”), a quantum computing company based in Montreal, Canada, is pleased to announce the official inauguration of its 24-qubit superconducting quantum computer deployed at Calcul Quebec, a high-performance computing (HPC) center. The inauguration event was attended by the Honourable François-Philippe Champagne, Canada’s Minister of Innovation, Science and Economic Development (ISED), Margrethe Vestager, Executive Vice-President of the European Commission as well as Suzanne Talon, CEO of Calcul Quebec.
Anyon announces the release of its second-generation quantum control electronics

Anyon Systems Inc. (“Anyon”), a quantum computing company based in Montreal, Canada, announced today that it has successfully completed production and validation of its second-generation quantum control electronics. Control electronics are a key component of superconducting quantum computers and Anyon believes that having the ability to control their design and production is a necessary capability to accelerate and derisk scaling-up of integrated quantum computers over time.

The integrated quantum computer will feature Anyon’s second generation superconducting quantum processor, Yamaska, and will benefit from the company’s vertically integrated offering which includes its proprietary cryogenic system, quantum electronics and software stack.

The quantum computer will feature Anyon’s Yukon generation superconducting quantum processor. Named after Canada’s westernmost territory, the quantum computer will enable DRDC researchers to explore quantum computing to solve problems of interest to their mission.
